B-SIDES / Independent spec concept
Flip the Snack
Giving overlooked ingredients a louder second act.

Independent, unofficial spec concept from my creative practice at ArcMuse. Not commissioned, approved, sponsored, or endorsed by the featured brand. AI-assisted product imagery is illustrative; no campaign performance is claimed.
The starting point
B-SIDES supplied the core creative spark: an upcycled snack built around giving ingredients another chance. As an unofficial spec study, I explored how that story might live inside the visual language of arcade games and nostalgic snack advertising.
The creative challenge
Celebrate the snack’s origin without turning sustainability into a lecture—or implying nutrition claims that were not independently confirmed.

My approach
“Flip the Snack” combines checkerboard floors, electric neon, comic-style accents, and floating crunchy puffs. Cheddar, Jalapeño, and Ranch each get flavor-specific treatments; the shared arcade treatment ties them together.
The making of
I built AI-assisted concept bag artwork and macro puff explosions, then laid out three feed ads, a five-part carousel, and two Stories with editable-style typeset headlines. The accompanying motion brief calls for snap zooms, particles, synchronized packet movement, and high-energy sound design. Illustrative packaging details are treated as design studies, not verified product labeling.
Deliverables & takeaway
A brand’s underlying story can be expressed through visual attitude and pacing, not just explanatory copy.
